Adopt vs Donate: Differences

Adopting a coral directly supports the growth and restoration of coral reefs by nurturing a baby coral fragment until it's ready to enrich the ocean's biodiversity.

Donating, however, provides broader support for our mission, including research, technology, and the vital work of our coral gardeners.

HOW DOES THE ADOPTION WORK?

It all starts with a baby coral fragment. Your adoption will enable us to collect a fragment from a resilient coral species in the lagoon and place it in our nursery, where it will grow big and strong. After a little over a year, your matured coral will be outplanted onto the natural reef to bring back life and biodiversity to the ocean.

Name your coral and receive a displayable digital card straight to your inbox.

  • 03. Track

Giving us Hope

Thank you to the Coral Gardeners for tireless efforts in the field. I am saddened to hear the news today that we have lost a significant amount of coral on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia since last Summer due to climate change. I want to contribute in any way I can to promoting the growth and care of coral around the world.

disappointing

we felt disappointed when we did the visit. The staff were not that nice, we went to see the corals with another boat who did a bit of show off and just jumped in the water right before us to make kind like if they were noting something about the corals for 2 minutes and then back in the boat we saw there was nothing written.. we came back to land and they did not even say bye to the group or anything , they offered some snack and disappeared. Also the tour in the water was like free style, they explained a bit from the boat and said after 20minutes we would be doing some other tour together, but that second part never happened.
