Plant corals, restore the reef

You can adopt a coral from any of our 3 branches around the globe to help us bring diversity and abundance back to the ocean. Once you choose the location of your coral, our local crew of Gardeners will take care of the rest.

Tracking your adopted coral(s)

You can see the coral you adopt with your own eyes, and follow the journey to the reef on our track my coral page.  Once the coral is in our nursery, we'll email you pictures and send you personal updates from the field.

Setting a username

After you adopt a coral, we'll set your username to your first name, making it easy to find your corals on the Track My Coral page. If you wish to stay anonymous you can always change your username.

Gifting your coral(s)

You can gift one or more corals to a loved one after adopting them. Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an email with a link to our Coral Gifting Form.

Through this form, you can specify the recipient of your (first) coral and include a personal message, if desired.

If you purchased multiple corals, you'll need to fill out the form separately for each recipient.

The recipient will receive a personalized email with your thoughtful gift directly.

Adopt vs Donate: Differences

Adopting a coral directly supports the growth and restoration of coral reefs by nurturing a baby coral fragment until it's ready to enrich the ocean's biodiversity.

Donating, however, provides broader support for our mission, including research, technology, and the vital work of our coral gardeners.

Who is Coral Gardeners ?

Coral Gardeners is dedicated to saving coral reefs through innovative coral farming and transplantation.

Founded in 2017, we aim to restore damaged reefs and inspire global communities.

By adopting a coral, you support our mission to protect and rejuvenate these crucial marine habitats.

Join us in making a difference for our oceans!

HOW DOES THE ADOPTION WORK?

Your adoption will enable us to collect a fragment from a resilient coral species in the wild and place it in our nurseries, where it will grow to maturity.

After over a year, your coral will then be outplanted onto a degraded reef to help revitalize the ocean ecosystem.

My husband loved it!

Good luck with the project!

I love tending my garden, weeding it and tossing away the snails and other vermin, and love watching it grow and blossom and give fruit.
A scuba diver myself, I can imagine how wonderful it must be to be an underwater gardener!

Me and my grandchild adopted a coral.

And of course she picked a pink coral, she was five, had birthday with cake and she chose a pink coral and I told her about the reef and that the pink coral together with all the other corals would protect small Gus hes and sharks (she loves sharks))
