How track my coral works

Once your coral is in our nursery, we’ll email you photos and send you personalized updates from the field. 

Are you eager to check on the story of your corals? You can also track your coral by following its journey by searching for your profile on the Track My Coral page.  

After you adopt your coral, you will receive a Coral Adoption Confirmation email. This means your adoption is ready to be assigned to a coral in the nursery.

As soon as we fill a nursery with new coral fragments, we will assign specific fragments to adoptions. If your adoption is assigned a nursery fragment, you will receive an email with a link to your profile, where you can track the journey and growth of the coral. 

Over the next year, you will receive periodic updates of your coral about it's growth.

When your coral reaches maturity, it will be carefully outplanted onto a damaged reef by our marine experts. This will strengthen the entire marine ecosystem. During this stage, you will receive an update that your coral was outplanted!

You can always search for your profile by typing in your public username in the ‘Find a supporter’ search bar on the Track My Coral page.

Once your coral is in the nursery, a personal link to your profile will also be included with every update. You can also find your personal link in every order confirmation.

Note: Please use the same email address that you used when making your coral donation to ensure your tracking information stays connected

You can gift your coral(s) to a friend or loved one after adopting them. Within your Coral Adoption Confirmation email, you can find a link to your personal Coral Gifting Form. 

Through this form, you can specify the recipient of your coral and include a personal message if desired. 

If you purchased multiple corals, you’ll need to fill out the form separately for each recipient. 

After completing the form, the recipient will directly receive a personalized email with your thoughtful gift. 

Note: You can only gift your coral only once

Yes, you certainly can grow your impact by adopting another coral. Your newly adopted coral will be added to your existing profile if you use the same email address.
