Sea Beyond
Our partnership with Prada through the Sea Beyond program began in 2025, grounded in a vision to integrate sustainability into fashion’s global narrative. One of the most significant components of our collaboration is the development of an online education module titled Saving Coral Reefs: From Science to Storytelling. This interactive program, designed for high school and college students, takes learners on a journey from understanding coral reef ecosystems to hands-on conservation practices, storytelling, and advocacy. Delivered as part of the UNESCO Prada Sea Beyond initiative, the program is set to inspire the next generation of marine conservationists.
Beyond education, Prada’s support is also enabling the exploration of a potential new Coral Gardeners branch in the Mediterranean Sea. This ambitious project includes conducting reef assessments, meeting with local non-profits, and collaborating with renowned marine biologist Professor Giovanni Chimienti to determine feasibility. The ultimate goal is to establish a restoration hub in the Mediterranean, replicating the success of our work in Polynesia, Asia and beyond.
In addition, Prada’s funding supports the development of advanced restoration technologies through our CG Labs, including the deployment of two ReefOS systems with AI-powered monitoring capabilities. By combining fashion influence with cutting-edge science, Prada and Coral Gardeners are setting the standard for purposeful, forward-thinking conservation.
Rolex
Since 2022, Rolex has been a transformative partner through their Perpetual Planet Initiative, supporting our mission to protect and restore coral reefs for future generations. As one of our earliest and most significant partners, Rolex’s commitment to our work has gone far beyond financial support—it has propelled Coral Gardeners onto the global stage, opening doors to unprecedented opportunities for collaboration and impact.
Their support also extends to storytelling and global outreach. Through Rolex’s extensive media network, our work has been featured in world-class publications such as The New York Times, Washington Post, and Le Monde. One of the most impactful moments was the National Geographic expedition in our newest Coral Gardeners branch in Thailand, led by Dr. Sylvia Earle, which highlighted Coral Gardeners’ efforts to build reef resilience in the face of climate change.
Our partnership, which aligns with Rolex’s Perpetual Planet initiative to address environmental challenges, has laid the groundwork for us to scale our impact and inspire others to join our mission to protect coral reefs for future generations.
Hugo Boss Foundation
The Hugo Boss Foundation made a bold statement in 2024 by choosing Coral Gardeners as the first non-profit organization they have ever supported. In our first year of collaboration, the Hugo Boss Foundation’s generous funding enabled us to plant 45,000 corals across French Polynesia, Thailand, and Fiji. This ambitious effort contributes to our broader goal of restoring 11,250 square meters of reef by 2026 which is critical to scaling our restoration activities.
Beyond restoration, this partnership has also fueled our local empowerment initiatives, educating 1,500 people through local school programs and ecotour experiences. With Hugo Boss Foundation’s backing, we launched the CG Xperience program in 2024—an innovative ecotourism model that immerses visitors in coral restoration activities through engaging presentations and hands-on experiences at our nurseries. The program’s success in French Polynesia and Fiji has expanded our reach, strengthening our awareness goals.
Moreover, the Hugo Boss Foundation is playing a critical role in our innovation efforts, funding the development and deployment of two fully integrated ReefOS systems to enhance our coral monitoring capabilities. Their support continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in conservation, setting new standards for high-impact partnerships.
Air Tahiti Nui
To scale our impact, we need to be where the reefs need us most. Since 2020, Air Tahiti Nui has been one of our legacy partners, providing essential flight support for our international expansion, fundraising efforts and human resource support.
This partnership has been crucial for field missions that drive our restoration efforts. From launching our second branch in Polynesia in Fiji to establishing our first Asia branch in Thailand, Air Tahiti Nui has been instrumental in making these expansions possible. Their flights have also supported vital fundraising trips, allowing us to secure the resources needed to grow our mission.
This partnership extends beyond logistical support. Air Tahiti Nui has supported our local engagement initiatives, including our first Impact Night, a major event held in French Polynesia to launch the release of our yearly Impact Report. This event showcased our achievements since our founding through a photography exhibition and storytelling sessions, bringing together key local stakeholders and further engagement within the Polynesian community. As a legacy partner rooted in French Polynesia, their support helps us strengthen connections within the local community while reaching global audiences.
Kenzo Parfums
Recognizing the connection between beauty and nature, Kenzo partnered with Coral Gardeners to support their launch of the L’Eau Pure Parfum as part of their vision to preserve ocean biodiversity.
Their substantial funding has enabled the creation of three nurseries—one in Tiaia and two in Hauru, Mo’orea—where we have planted over 11,000 corals. The newest nursery in Hauru was developed in close collaboration with the local community, including fishermen and residents, whose involvement ensured long-term support and integration.
Locally, Kenzo’s funding has empowered our educational programs, training 200 children at To'a Ora (Mo'orea) and Ahototeina (Teahupo'o) to create their own coral gardens. By inspiring the next generation of ocean protectors, this partnership ensures that conservation awareness becomes embedded within the local community.
Kenzo also amplified our mission through a global awareness campaign tied to their new perfume launch. They engaged five influencers, including Juanpa Zurita, who visited our HQ in Mo'orea to experience our work firsthand. Their content, shared across social media platforms, reached millions, raising global awareness about the importance of coral conservation.
Got Bag
For our restoration teams, having sustainable, durable gear is essential to carrying out our mission. That’s why our partnership with Got Bag is about more than just bags—it’s about turning ocean plastic waste into something meaningful. Their innovative bags, crafted from ocean plastics, provide our teams with reliable gear for field operations.
Their support goes further through direct funding via royalties from the sale of our co-branded collection. Since 2022, for every Got Bag product sold, one coral is planted, turning consumer engagement into tangible restoration. Additionally, Got Bag funds our on-the-ground restoration efforts through monthly sponsorships, which directly contribute to our coral planting initiatives.
Their commitment also extends to our newest branch in Thailand, where they have supported the setup of two coral nurseries and collaborated with us on a joint beach cleanup, demonstrating our joint commitment to local conservation and community engagement.
K-Way
Since 2023, K-Way has been our official rainwear jacket partner, providing our restoration teams with essential protection against the harsh elements we face while working in tropical environments. Operating in areas prone to heavy rains and unpredictable weather, durable, high-performance gear is critical for our field missions.
But this partnership goes beyond outfitting our team. Through our co-branded collection, K-Way actively engages its customers in coral restoration, with proceeds directly funding our planting efforts.
Their commitment to spreading awareness doesn’t stop there. K-Way actively engages high-profile ambassadors, including Olympic surfer Leonardo Fioravanti, Italian swimmer Gregorio Paltrinieri, and freediving world record holder Arnaud Jerald. Their visits to our project sites in French Polynesia generated powerful content that raised awareness about our work across their media platforms.
4Ocean
When two passionate founders of impact-driven organizations come together, big things happen. Our collaboration with 4Ocean is built on a shared commitment to restoring marine ecosystems and removing plastic pollution from the ocean. In 2024, we launched a co-branded bracelet collection designed to fund both coral restoration and ocean cleanup efforts. Each bracelet sold removes 4 pounds of plastic from the ocean and directly supports the planting of one coral at our restoration sites. The bracelets themselves are made from recycled materials, reinforcing our commitment to circularity and sustainability.
But the collaboration goes far beyond the product. To strengthen our partnership, the 4Ocean team visited our headquarters in Mo'orea to see our restoration work firsthand. They captured powerful impact content, highlighting the urgency of reef conservation and showcasing our teams at work. This content resonated with both of our audiences, spreading awareness across social platforms and fostering a sense of community action.
Melin
When it comes to working in the field, sun protection is essential for our restoration teams, who spend long hours under the tropical sun. That’s why our partnership with Melin is more than just a collaboration—it’s a practical solution to a real challenge. As a premium hat brand known for their high-performance and stylish designs, Melin’s products perfectly align with our needs for sun protection and durability.
Our partnership began in 2023, driven by the shared goal of combining functionality with purpose. Melin and Coral Gardeners collaboratively designed two functional hats to equip our restoration team, ensuring they stay protected while carrying out their mission on the reefs. These hats are crafted from water-resistant and quick-drying materials, making them ideal for both in-water and on-land activities.
Pedal
Sustainability and innovation go hand in hand, and our partnership with Pedal is redefining how we move. Together in 2023, we created a co-branded electric bike that champions eco-friendly transportation, replacing gas-powered alternatives with zero-emission mobility solutions. The All Wheel Drive [CG] bike exemplifies our commitment to reducing carbon footprints while accelerating reef restoration.
Pedal’s electric bikes have equipped our restoration teams with the ability to transport mission-critical equipment to restoration sites efficiently and sustainably. Operating in tropical environments often means navigating rugged terrains and sandy shores, and the bikes have proven invaluable for our daily operations.
Our collaboration goes beyond practical use—it also amplifies our mission through Pedal’s marketing initiatives. Pedal integrated storytelling about our partnership into their digital content and featured our restoration efforts on their social platforms. This partnership showcases how clean mobility can directly support conservation, setting a standard for innovative solutions that protect the planet.
