Every wave you've ridden, every reef you've snorkeled or kitesurfed around whilst on this trip in Bali, is only here because it's still alive. Coral reefs aren't the backdrop to ocean culture — they're the foundation of it. No reef, no surf break, no fish, no Bali as we know it.

I started Coral Gardeners in 2017 with a handful of friends who watched our home reef in Moorea dying in real time. Today, we've planted over 200,000 corals and educated 15,000+ people across French Polynesia and beyond. But the ocean doesn't stop at any one coastline — it's one system, and ACTAI is exactly the kind of community that can help protect it at scale.
