Adopt vs Donate: Differences

Adopting a coral directly supports the growth and restoration of coral reefs by nurturing a baby coral fragment until it's ready to enrich the ocean's biodiversity.

Donating, however, provides broader support for our mission, including research, technology, and the vital work of our coral gardeners.

HOW DOES THE ADOPTION WORK?

It all starts with a baby coral fragment. Your adoption will enable us to collect a fragment from a resilient coral species in the lagoon and place it in our nursery, where it will grow big and strong. After a little over a year, your matured coral will be outplanted onto the natural reef to bring back life and biodiversity to the ocean.

Adoption card will not download

Wonderful idea and great for the environment, wanting to gift to my brother for Christmas, but the adoption card I was linked to via email will not download. I have tried on several devices and still will not download, very disappointing.

Thank you

Being so far away from the actual planting sites, adopting digitally enables the possibility to be part of your project. It is beautiful that even from far away I can follow the adoption process.

Love your work legends, thank you

After spending time years ago surfing and snorkelling in the area my family and I saw the coral Gardeners team doing their thing! At the time we had no idea and on return of our trip I checked it out. The reef and the area meant so much to us and simply being in the ocean.
Each month we Dontate and adopted coral as a way of giving back to this great team. We can't wait to come back again late this year and plan to help out ore on our trip. Big smiles
